TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: August 11, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the laundry pickup, processing, delivery, membership, and related services provided by Oro Verde Tejas LLC, doing business as The Washery Co.
By scheduling a pickup, submitting an order, enrolling in a membership, checking an agreement box, providing payment information, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Service Model and Service Area
The Washery Co. provides residential laundry pickup and delivery within its designated service area.
The Washery Co. does not operate a public customer storefront. Walk-ins, unscheduled drop-offs, and customer visits to our processing location are not permitted.
Available ZIP codes, service dates, pickup windows, delivery windows, and services are displayed during booking and may change as our service area and operations develop.
We reserve the right to decline orders outside our service area or orders that cannot be safely or reasonably completed.
2. Free Pickup and Next-Day Delivery Schedule
Standard pickup and next-day delivery are included in the displayed service price for qualifying orders within our service area.
Our regular schedule is:
• Free pickup service is available Monday through Friday.
• Monday through Thursday pickups are generally delivered the following day between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Friday pickups are generally delivered Saturday between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
• Saturday is delivery-only. No Saturday pickups are scheduled.
• Sunday service is not ordinarily available.
• Customers generally receive a text approximately 30 minutes before pickup and delivery.
All pickup and delivery windows are estimates and are not guaranteed appointment times.
Weather, traffic, holidays, route conditions, order volume, equipment issues, utility interruptions, staffing, inaccessible locations, safety concerns, or other operational circumstances may cause delays.
The Washery Co. will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of material delays.
3. Pricing and Order Estimates
Prices are based on the rates displayed during checkout.
Laundry service is generally priced by bag rather than by garment count. Bedding, comforters, household items, upgrades, rush service, and optional add-ons are priced separately when offered.
The quantity and price entered during booking are an estimate based on information provided by the customer.
The final price is based on the bags, bedding, upgrades, add-ons, and other services actually received and accepted for processing.
If an order materially differs from the booking, The Washery Co. may contact the customer before processing the affected items.
Applicable Texas sales tax, standard payment-processing fees, standard pickup, and next-day delivery are included in the displayed price for qualifying orders within our service area unless otherwise clearly stated.
4. Standard Laundry Bag Requirements
A standard laundry bag is a securely tied, undamaged bag no larger than a standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bag.
Each bag must:
• Be securely tied;
• Contain no overflowing items;
• Have no rips, holes, or tears;
• Be dry and safe to handle;
• Not leak;
• Not be excessively heavy; and
• Be capable of being safely lifted, transported, and processed.
An overfilled, oversized, excessively heavy, torn, leaking, improperly secured, or unsafe bag may be:
• Counted as more than one bag;
• Subject to an additional authorized charge;
• Returned to the customer for repacking; or
• Refused for safety or operational reasons.
Final bag count is determined by The Washery Co. after pickup based on the bags actually received.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
• Emptying all pockets before pickup;
• Removing cash, jewelry, electronics, medication, identification, keys, documents, cosmetics, pens, sharp objects, and other valuables;
• Securing each laundry bag properly;
• Providing accurate contact, address, gate, building, and access information;
• Providing special-care instructions before pickup;
• Identifying stains and unusual garment conditions;
• Identifying items requiring hang drying or other special treatment;
• Disclosing allergies, fragrance sensitivities, infestation, contamination, or hazardous conditions;
• Keeping pets secured during pickup and delivery;
• Providing safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the pickup and delivery location; and
• Ensuring that the correct laundry is available during the selected pickup window.
The Washery Co. is not responsible for pocket contents or for damage caused by objects left inside clothing, bedding, bags, or other items.
Additional handling, cleanup, equipment repair, sanitization, or reprocessing required because of undisclosed items or conditions may result in reasonable additional charges after customer notification.
6. Laundry Processing and Garment Care
Unless different available options are selected before pickup, The Washery Co. may sort laundry by color and process it using cold water, standard machine washing, machine drying, and reasonable laundry-care practices.
Garment-care label instructions take priority when they are present, readable, accurate, and reasonably compatible with the service requested.
The Washery Co. relies on:
• Customer selections;
• Written special instructions;
• Garment-care labels; and
• Reasonable visual inspection.
We do not individually test every fabric, dye, seam, fastener, decoration, or manufacturing condition.
Laundry may experience ordinary risks associated with washing and drying, including:
• Shrinkage;
• Fading;
• Color loss;
• Dye transfer;
• Pilling;
• Stretching;
• Fabric wear;
• Loose seams;
• Damaged fasteners;
• Loss of decorative pieces; or
• Deterioration of weak or aging material.
The Washery Co. is not responsible for problems caused by inaccurate or missing care labels, manufacturer defects, weak material, pre-existing damage, undisclosed care requirements, or items unsuitable for ordinary wash-and-fold service.
7. Detergent, Fragrance and Stain Treatment
Customers may select from the detergent options offered during booking.
Although reasonable care is used, a fragrance-free detergent selection does not guarantee that an order will be completely free from fragrance, allergens, or residue from products previously used in laundry equipment.
Customers with serious allergies or sensitivities must disclose them before pickup. The Washery Co. may decline an order when we cannot reasonably accommodate a requested allergy or contamination precaution.
When we notice a stain, we may apply stain treatment as a complimentary service.
Stain removal is not guaranteed.
We cannot guarantee complete removal of:
• Stains;
• Odors;
• Pet hair;
• Human hair;
• Lint;
• Smoke residue;
• Mildew;
• Discoloration;
• Embedded debris; or
• Other pre-existing conditions.
8. Hanging and Hangers
Customers may provide suitable hangers at no additional charge. When The Washery Co. supplies hangers, the customer will be charged $1 per hanger.
Customers requesting hung garments must identify the items to be hung during booking and provide enough suitable hangers when selecting the customer-provided hanger option.
If insufficient, damaged, or unsuitable customer-provided hangers are supplied, remaining items may be neatly folded.
Socks, underwear, towels, bedding, and other items not reasonably suitable for hanging will be folded.
The Washery Co. may use reasonable judgment to determine which garments are eligible for hanging and is not responsible for damage caused by weak, damaged, unsuitable, or customer-supplied hangers.
9. Hang-Dry Items
Customers must identify hang-dry items before pickup in the Special Instructions section.
Hang-dry items may be returned slightly damp to reduce the risk of damage, shrinkage, or excessive drying.
The Washery Co. does not guarantee that hang-dry items will be completely dry at the time of delivery.
10. Bedding, Add-Ons and Upgrades
Bedding, comforters, household items, Scent Beads, the DedCool Laundry Upgrade, and other optional add-ons are charged according to the prices and quantities displayed during checkout. The DedCool Laundry Upgrade includes DedCool detergent and dryer sheets.
When an add-on applies to only certain laundry bags, the customer must clearly identify which bags should receive the selected add-on.
If the customer does not clearly identify the applicable bags, The Washery Co. may contact the customer, apply the add-on according to reasonable instructions, or decline to apply it until clarification is received.
Items that are significantly larger, heavier, more delicate, or more difficult to process than represented during booking may require customer approval of an adjusted price.
11. Prohibited and Restricted Items
The Washery Co. may refuse, isolate, or return without processing items containing or affected by:
• Gasoline, fuel, oil, solvents, pesticides, or hazardous chemicals;
• Needles, blades, glass, weapons, or sharp objects;
• Excessive blood, bodily fluids, vomit, feces, urine, or other biohazardous material;
• Bedbugs, fleas, lice, roaches, or other infestation;
• Mold, severe mildew, or excessive moisture;
• Illegal substances or illegal property;
• Excessive pet waste or contamination;
• Fire, smoke, or chemical damage;
• Materials likely to damage laundry equipment or contaminate other orders; or
• Any condition that presents a health, safety, legal, or operational risk.
Items with accidental urine or fecal contamination may be accepted only with advance disclosure and approval. Additional sanitization or handling charges may apply.
Unless approved in advance, The Washery Co. does not accept:
• Dry-clean-only items;
• Leather;
• Suede;
• Fur;
• Fragile rugs;
• Heavily embellished garments;
• Irreplaceable specialty items; or
• Items requiring professional specialty cleaning.
Failure to disclose an infestation, contamination, hazardous condition, or prohibited item may result in additional charges, service refusal, or suspension of future service.
12. Payment Authorization and Final Charge
A valid debit or credit card is required to reserve an online pickup. The customer’s card is not charged when the booking is submitted.
After pickup, The Washery Co. will verify the actual number of laundry bags, bedding and household items, add-ons, upgrades, discounts, and other approved services.
The final confirmed order total will then be charged to the payment method provided before cleaning begins.
If the final order materially differs from the original booking estimate, The Washery Co. may contact the customer before processing the affected services.
By submitting the booking form and accepting the Order Authorization and Service Agreement, the customer authorizes The Washery Co. to process the final confirmed order total, including the actual services received, approved changes, and disclosed fees.
If payment fails, processing or delivery may be delayed until payment arrangements are resolved.
Standard online orders require a valid payment method through our approved payment processor. Alternative payment methods are available only when expressly approved by The Washery Co.
13. Missed Pickups, Access Problems and Additional Attempts
A $15 missed-pickup fee may be charged when:
• Laundry is not available during the scheduled pickup window;
• The driver cannot safely or legally access the location;
• A required gate code or entry instruction was not provided;
• Pets, hazards, or unsafe conditions prevent pickup;
• The address is incorrect;
• Instructions are materially incomplete; or
• The customer is unavailable when their presence is required.
The customer should contact The Washery Co. as soon as possible when a scheduled pickup needs to be changed or canceled.
Additional delivery attempts caused by an incorrect address, inaccessible location, missing access information, or another customer-caused issue may result in a reasonable additional charge after notification.
14. Unattended Pickup and Delivery
When a customer requests or authorizes unattended pickup, the customer remains responsible for the laundry until The Washery Co. takes possession of it.
When a customer requests or authorizes unattended delivery, responsibility for the completed order transfers to the customer when the order is placed at the approved delivery location.
The Washery Co. may take time-stamped photographs or maintain electronic records of pickup and delivery locations for:
• Service verification;
• Loss prevention;
• Customer support; and
• Dispute resolution.
The Washery Co. is not responsible for theft, weather exposure, animal damage, building-access issues, or other loss occurring before we take possession of an unattended pickup or after an unattended delivery has been completed.
15. First-Order Promotion
The WELCOME10 promotional code provides $10 off a customer’s first qualifying order of two or more laundry bags.
The promotion:
• Is limited to one use per household;
• Applies only to eligible new customers;
• Has no cash value;
• Cannot be applied retroactively;
• Does not apply to a one-bag order; and
• Cannot be combined with another promotion unless expressly permitted.
The Washery Co. may verify eligibility and refuse or reverse a discount obtained through duplicate accounts, false information, or other misuse.
16. Memberships and Recurring Payments
The membership plan name, monthly price, included monthly bag allowance, benefits, discounts, upgrades, and billing frequency displayed during enrollment form part of the customer’s membership agreement.
If a specific enrollment disclosure conflicts with a general description elsewhere, the terms clearly displayed and accepted during enrollment will control for that membership.
By enrolling, the customer expressly authorizes The Washery Co. and its payment processor to charge the selected payment method automatically on a recurring monthly basis until the membership is canceled.
Unless the enrollment page states otherwise:
• Membership billing begins on the enrollment date;
• Membership renews monthly on the corresponding billing date;
• Monthly bag allowances reset each billing cycle;
• Unused bags and benefits do not roll over;
• Unused benefits have no cash, refund, exchange, or credit value;
• Membership benefits are nontransferable;
• Memberships are limited to the enrolled household;
• Memberships may not be used for commercial, rental-property, Airbnb, or business laundry without written approval;
• Bags used beyond the remaining monthly allowance included in the customer’s purchased membership plan are currently charged at $30 per bag to the member’s saved payment method;
• Members may use any number of their remaining monthly bags in one pickup;
• Membership laundry must be placed in a Washery Co. branded membership bag or, when a branded bag is not being used, in a securely tied trash bag no larger than 13 gallons;
• Bedding, specialty items, and optional add-ons are charged separately; and
• Failed payments may result in suspension of membership benefits.
Customers may cancel future membership renewals by calling or texting 346-768-8040, or by using another cancellation method made available on our website.
Cancellation must be completed before the next billing date to prevent the next scheduled charge.
Cancellation stops future recurring charges. It does not automatically refund a membership payment that has already been processed.
Unless otherwise stated, customers may continue using available benefits through the end of the paid billing cycle. Any unused benefits expire at the end of that cycle.
Membership payments are generally nonrefundable after processing, except when a refund is approved by The Washery Co. or required by law.
The Washery Co. may suspend or terminate a membership for:
• Failed payment;
• Fraud or suspected fraud;
• Misuse of benefits;
• Unsafe service conditions;
• Repeated policy violations;
• Prohibited items;
• Unpaid balances; or
• Abusive or threatening conduct.
17. Quality Concerns and Rewash Requests
Customers should inspect their completed laundry promptly after delivery.
Quality concerns, missing-item claims, and damage claims should be reported within 24 hours after delivery.
Failure to report a concern promptly may limit our ability to investigate, verify, or correct the issue.
When appropriate, The Washery Co. may offer a reasonable rewash or corrective service.
An item submitted for rewash must be:
• Unworn and unused after delivery;
• Returned promptly;
• Not subsequently washed;
• Not treated by another person or company;
• Not repaired or altered; and
• In substantially the same condition in which it was delivered.
Depending on the circumstances, The Washery Co. may provide:
• A rewash;
• A service credit;
• A partial refund;
• A full refund;
• Another reasonable corrective service; or
• A remedy required by applicable law.
18. Lost or Damaged Items
The Washery Co. does not individually inventory every garment or item contained inside a laundry bag.
Customers should not include:
• Irreplaceable items;
• Collectibles;
• Expensive specialty garments;
• Family heirlooms;
• Items with significant sentimental value; or
• Items unsuitable for ordinary wash-and-fold service.
A claim involving a missing or damaged item must include enough information to identify and evaluate the item, including photographs, description, age, condition, and available proof of purchase when reasonably requested.
The Washery Co. is not responsible for loss or damage caused by:
• Normal wear and tear;
• Pre-existing damage;
• Weak, deteriorated, or aging fabric;
• Manufacturer defects;
• Inaccurate, unreadable, or missing care labels;
• Ordinary shrinkage, fading, pilling, dye transfer, or color loss;
• Buttons, zippers, elastic, seams, glued-on pieces, decorations, or fasteners that fail during ordinary processing;
• Pocket contents;
• Undisclosed care requirements;
• Customer-supplied products or hangers;
• Prohibited or restricted items; or
• Items that should not have been submitted for ordinary wash-and-fold service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, compensation for a lost or damaged item will not exceed the item’s reasonable depreciated fair-market value immediately before the loss or damage or the reasonable cost of repair, whichever is less appropriate under the circumstances.
Original retail price, sentimental value, emotional distress, lost income, loss of use, indirect losses, and consequential damages are not included when determining item value unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
19. Refunds, Credits and Chargebacks
Because laundry processing requires labor, transportation, supplies, utilities, and equipment use, payments are generally nonrefundable after processing begins.
Refunds, credits, rewashes, and other resolutions are evaluated based on the individual circumstances and applicable law.
Customers are encouraged to contact The Washery Co. before initiating a chargeback so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern.
Fraudulent, abusive, or knowingly inaccurate chargebacks may result in:
• Suspension of service;
• Refusal of future service;
• Collection activity; or
• Other lawful action.
The Washery Co. may use the customer’s email address and telephone number to contact the customer regarding an order, membership, payment, scheduling issue, access problem, cancellation request, or customer-service matter.
Automated service-related text messages will be sent only when the customer separately elects to receive those messages. These texts may include confirmations, scheduling links, pickup and delivery updates, driver-arrival notices, payment notices, receipts, delays, and other information related to a requested transaction.
Promotional text messages will be sent only when the customer separately consents to receive discounts, promotions, and special offers. Consent to service-related texts does not constitute consent to promotional texts.
Text-message consent is optional and is not required to place an order, join a membership, or schedule a pickup. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Customers may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
The Washery Co. will maintain records of text-message consent and honor valid opt-out requests.
21. Privacy and Third-Party Services
Customer information is handled according to The Washery Co. Privacy Policy.
The Washery Co. may use third-party service providers to operate its website, forms, payments, communications, scheduling, customer records, and business systems, including services such as Wix, Jotform, Stripe, Airtable, email, and text-messaging providers.
Use of those platforms may also be subject to the applicable provider’s own terms and privacy practices.
22. Refusal, Suspension or Termination of Service
The Washery Co. may refuse, suspend, or discontinue service due to:
• Unsafe or inaccessible conditions;
• Prohibited or contaminated items;
• Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate conduct;
• Fraud or suspected fraud;
• Unpaid balances;
• Failed payment;
• Repeated missed pickups;
• Repeated policy violations;
• Misuse of promotions or membership benefits;
• Risks to customers, employees, contractors, property, or equipment; or
• Circumstances that make service unreasonable, unsafe, illegal, or impractical.
23. Operational Delays and Events Beyond Our Control
The Washery Co. is not responsible for a delay or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
• Severe weather;
• Flooding;
• Road closures;
• Power, water, gas, internet, or communications outages;
• Equipment failure;
• Government action;
• Public emergencies;
• Labor or staffing interruptions;
• Supply shortages;
• Accidents;
• Property damage; or
• Other unexpected operational conditions.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and complete affected orders as soon as reasonably practical.
24. Changes to Services, Pricing and Terms
The Washery Co. may update:
• Service areas;
• Operating days;
• Pickup and delivery windows;
• Prices;
• Promotions;
• Membership options;
• Benefits;
• Add-ons; and
• These Terms & Conditions.
Changes will generally apply prospectively after being posted or communicated.
Material changes to the recurring price or core benefits of an active membership will be communicated before taking effect when required by law.
The current version of these Terms & Conditions will be posted on our website with its effective date.
25. Governing Law, Severability and Consumer Rights
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Any legal proceeding arising from our services will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Harris County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions waives or limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited.
